Kristen Uliasz

Kristen has been a special education teacher for over a decade, working in elementary, middle, and high school settings that were both segregated and inclusive. She is experienced in teaching marginalized students and passionate about their full and meaningful inclusion in their classrooms, schools, and communities. She currently works as an Inclusion and Resource Specialist at a wall-to-walll PBL high school in Davis, CA, where she has spent the last 6 years differentiating project-based learning for students with a wide range of abilities. Kristen believes PBL is a transformative pedagogy that has the potential to engage and empower ALL students in authentic learning experiences that are relevant and important for their lives.
