Award marks second for TEACH since it launched this summer
Novato, CA (DATE, 2025) – PBLWorks TEACH™ was named a winner in the Tech & Learning Awards of Excellence: Back to School 2025 – marking the second award win for the PBL curriculum product since its launch in June, 2025. TEACH won in the Secondary Education category, and it won a Tech & Learning Best of Show Award at ISTELive 25 earlier this year.
TEACH is a web-based application that provides teachers with access to Gold Standard Project Based Learning (PBL) project units for middle school math, science, English Language Arts, and social studies. Curriculum units for elementary and high school are coming in early in 2026.
“We created TEACH to help more schools and districts implement Gold Standard Project Based Learning and earning this second award further validates that we are filling a critical need for teachers and administrators who are seeking to start or expand their PBL initiatives,” said PBLWorks CEO Bob Lenz. “We are already seeing teachers having amazing success with TEACH, and we look forward to working with schools this year to bring PBL to even more students through TEACH.”
TEACH was created by The Buck Institute for Education (dba PBLWorks), a national provider of curriculum and professional development for high-quality Project Based Learning (PBL), in response to a demand for ready-to-use PBL curriculum. It leverages PBLWorks’ deep expertise and decades of experience to provide robust, engaging, standards-aligned PBL projects complete with step-by-step instructions, embedded professional learning, and downloadable resources and handouts. TEACH also gives users access to an online community for connection, collaboration, and continuous learning with other PBL teachers and experts in the field. The Community provides a space for educators to exchange ideas, ask questions, and get practical support.
