Sara Slogesky
Sara Slogesky is an experienced district leader, instructional coach, and classroom teacher with more than 20 years in education. Her work includes K-12 curricular leadership in social studies and the humanities, as well as leadership in project based learning and capstone programs. She has also served as a facilitator, consultant, and curriculum designer for various districts and organizations, including the Capitol Region Education Council and the Choices Program.
In addition to serving on the PBLWorks National Faculty, Sara is currently a coach and coordinator at a theme-based magnet school in Connecticut. In her work, Sara is committed to building authentic learning experiences by partnering with community organizations and local stakeholders to create meaningful connections for educators and students. She is passionate about supporting teachers and leaders in advancing high quality project based learning and values opportunities to partner with educators at every stage of their professional journey.
Sara holds a Master’s degree in Education, along with an advanced degree in Curriculum and Instruction and credentials in Educational Leadership. She is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Connecticut researching student voice practices in schools. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys road trips and attending concerts and sporting events with her family throughout New England and beyond. Thank you for your help!
