Teacher Presentations of Learning
The Teacher Presentations of Learning workshop introduces school teams to the power that collegial teacher reflection on practice can have to improve student outcomes, and guides participants through a scaffolded process for reflecting on and sharing their learning about Project Based Teaching with colleagues. Participants will celebrate successes, share key lessons learned, and identify areas in which they want to continue to grow. Throughout the workshop, participants will consider how their PBL practice can support educational equity and improve outcomes for the learners in their classrooms.
Facilitated by one of our expert National Faculty, this workshop is a balanced blend of video analysis, hands-on work, resource sharing, and structured peer collaboration and feedback.
Each participant will leave the workshop with clearly identified strengths and growth areas to inform future learning, as well as tools to make POL an ongoing practice within the school.
As a result of this service, participants will:
- Understand how making educator practice visible can improve student outcomes
- Reflect on PBL implementation and Project Based Teaching Practices
- Determine next steps for professional growth
- Engage together as a community of leaders and learners to lead the changes necessary to scale Gold Standard PBL in our school
