Deepen PBL: Improving the Quality of Student Work
Workshop Description
In this engaging and interactive workshop, you will investigate and apply teaching practices and strategies that can help to strengthen the quality of student work in a PBL classroom. You will develop and reflect on a high-quality project, and will plan for project implementation in order to improve student products and enhance learning.
This Deepen PBL workshop focuses on four teaching practices of Gold Standard PBL: Align to Standards; Scaffold Student Learning; Engage & Coach; and Assess Student Learning.

Designed for teachers, coaches, curriculum specialists, school & district leaders who want to deepen their PBL practice

The Essentials
Instruction: Led by a member of PBLWorks' National Faculty – seasoned teachers, administrators, school coaches, and PBL experts
Workshop Size: Up to 35 participants
Workshop Length: 3 days
Scheduling Considerations: Best after teachers have designed or implemented at least two projects
Format: Available online or In-person
Pre-requisite: Facilitate PBL, Design PBL, or PBL 101 (offered prior to 2027)
