Erin Starkey

Lead National Faculty - South

Throughout the past ten years in education, Erin has enjoyed inspiring learners across grade levels, writing curriculum, and coaching as a classroom teacher, Instructional Coach, Technologist, and National Faculty member. Erin has relished implementing various initiatives such as Project Based Learning, Writer's Workshop, Daily Cafe, STEM, Bring Your Own Device, and transitioning to 1:1 with both Macbooks and Chromebooks during her work with multiple districts.

Erin found PBL via the Buck Institute for Education through one of her alma maters, Abilene Christian University. She is so grateful for the introduction to PBL as she has seen firsthand how PBLWorks for students across socio-economic and academic levels and she believes strongly in the power of Project Based Learning to reach and engage all learners.

Erin earned her BA in Early Childhood Education from ACU and her M.Ed. in Education with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction from Texas State.
